You instantly cut yourself off from ideas and solutions to a cash crunch. Inside your subconscious mind you blame yourself for not being able to fulfill your childs wants and dreams. The only thing that can come out of this statement is a negative feeling: for both you and your child. I suggest that you approach these delicate situations with two tricks that will work wonders if you let them.

Helpful Hint #1: Sit Down With Your Child And Show Them Your Budget

Yes, that's right I said show them your budget. This of course infers that you actually have a budget. If you do not have a budget use a spreadsheet program and make one after you finish reading this article. Include everything you spend money on during an average month. Never make them feel bad for wanting to have the things they want. Tell your child they can have them but either they have to save for them or give up something else for a little while.

Reason: Within the conscious part of our mind we have the ability to reason and logically process information based on the data we perceive around us through our five senses. I have been self-employed in numerous business ventures for many years, and the major portion of that time was spent working from my own home. Freedom was my number one reason for becoming self employed. While it may not be a good reason to start a business solely on the prospect of making big bucks, it is true that the majority of people do have the potential to make more money by owning and creating a business than they do working for a paycheck. This is because when you are working for someone else; there are just a limited number of hours in a day for which to earn an hourly wage or a commission. This is the primary reason why most people cannot get wealthy as a traditional employee unless they invest their money in something independent of their work. Trading time for money will never get anyone rich.

For the millions of people who have moved from cubicles to home offices, these personal choices are a major factor. Additionally, if you are green conscious, you can regulate your own heat, shut off unused lights and even go solar-powered if you so choose. While many businesses today are getting in step with the green environmental movement, plenty are not. You, as your own boss, can do so and feel that sense of doing something good for Mother Earth in your own little piece of the world.

Operating a business from home also qualifies you for any number of the tax benefits associated with operating a business, even if you work a regular job and operate your business only part time. As soon as you open for business, a portion of your utility bills are tax-deductible against business revenues, a portion of your transportation costs (equal to the percentage of time and mileage your car is used for business) are tax-deductible, and even this book that you just purchased is an allowable deduction for educational purposes. If you however focus on the good you will change your entire point of reference. Everything has two parts or sides. If something is a little bad it must be a little good. She got a great severance package and has since started her own business. In the middle of something negative a positive was found and she is much happier than before.

I challenge you to find the good in situations. This is not always an easy task. Pay Attention To Your Words

Your vocabulary also colors the way you think. If you get home from work and say that your day was hard, you are likely to have more of those days in the future. Anytime the circumstances of the day match up with the hard day, you will feel tired and not very happy about your day. Simply changing how you word statements like this will make a big difference. Say something like I was very productive today and I got a lot accomplished. At first you will feel like you are kidding yourself but over time this will change your perspective and will result in better and better days. I no longer complain about being tired or that I was really busy. I rest and then get right back to doing the things I like to do.

If you are using negative language it will affect how you think, plain and simple. Your words matter whether you want them to or not. By paying attention to the words you use and the thoughts you think you will move yourself into a success mindset. Ask yourself each time you have a thought or you say something: Does that resonate with my vision of what I want to create in my life? If it doesnt change it right away. Thinking negatively is just a bad habit that can be changed. Success comes from building up a series of habits that support you and push you forward to your goal.

Thresholds: Is it serving or selling?

Most people complain that they don't have enough money.

They look at their bills, they look at their wants and needs, they look at their checkbook, and then they look terrified.

How will they pay their bills?

How will they feed their family?

How will they attract more money?

I'm sure you know the feeling. We've all been there. You may be there right now.

Now what's really curious to me is this:

The movie The Secret and many of the teachers in it offer proven ways to attract money and other material things. This obviously works, given the thousands of testimonials from people who now have money when previously they couldn't find it in a bank with the vault door open.

But some people are complaining that the focus of the movie is only on money or material things. They say it's self-serving. They say it's egotistic.

Do you hear the cultural programming at work?

"Money is bad."

"Taking care of yourself is bad."

"Material things are not spiritual."

Please note the discrepancy: when you want money and at the same time say focusing on it is bad or selfish, you are pushing it away.

Even the fans of the movie are doing this.

Some of the very people who use the Law of Attraction to get out of debt or attract a new car, at a later point only attract so much money before they begin to think they are being selfish. At that point they unconsciously turn off the flow and wonder what happened. They then begin to criticize the movie, too.

It's a strange thing to see.

First, people scramble to find money and worry and fret about it.

Then, they actually learn how to attract it, get some, and begin to complain that money isn't spiritual.

Wait a minute.

Weren't these the same people who wanted money in the first place?

Why was money good when they didn't have it and bad when they finally got it?

All of this is because of people's beliefs.

They hit their threshold of deservingness.

My father plays the lottery. But when the lotto gets to a hundred million dollars, he quits playing. He says that amount is "too much" and "that much money will ruin you."

Winning ninety-nine million is OK but one hundred million isn't?

Again, we're dealing with beliefs.

We're dealing with thresholds of deservingness.

I was at an event once when a fellow called his wife and handed me the phone. He wanted a star of The Secret to surprise her.

I took the call, said my name, and heard her scream.

She was talking to a celebrity. She was giddy with excitement.

But then she started asking me what I was doing to save the world.

This woman had gone from being a fan of The Secret and using what she learned to manifest a few things, to hitting her comfort zone and now not wanting anything else.

What happened?

Another example is this: many of the teachers in the movie The Secret create products and services to help you achieve your goals. When your mindset is open, you thank them for their services. When your mindset is closed, you say they are just "selling."

Well, are they selling or serving?

It's both and it's neither. It depends on your beliefs.

It depends on your threshold of deservingness.

If you think they are taking advantage of you, you call it selling (because you think selling is bad).

If you think they are helping you, you call it serving (because you know serving is good).

Again, it's all about beliefs, and particularly your belief about what you feel you deserve.

That belief creates a threshold that you won't get past without some work.

It reminds me of a question a therapist used to ask patients:

"How good can you stand it?"

Most of us can't stand it really good.

"What will the neighbors think?"

"What will my family think?"

"If it's too good, surely something bad will happen."

"I don't deserve it too good."

"If it's too good, it won't last and I'll be miserable again."

"If I'm happy, I won't do anything to save the planet."

Those are all limiting beliefs.

Your life can be fantastic. Truly amazing. But very often we hit a comfort level and won't go past it. Why? Because of our self-imposed limits.

Because of our threshold of deservingness.

You can deceive yourself with rationalizations and criticisms about The Secret, me, others, the world, etc; but the end result is, you limit your own good.

I keep reminding people that once you get clear, there's not much you can't have, do, or be.

Your goal should always be happiness, what I call spiritual awakening, but the only limits along the way are your own.

How good can you stand it, anyway?

Do You Really Use Your Imagination To Get What You Want In Life?

We are able to create pictures on the screen of our mind of anything we want to have, do or become. Do you remember when you were a child how rich and vivid your imagination was? Do you remember the level of enjoyment you had imagining the places you would go, the things you would have and who you would become? Why is it that as we age our ability to use our imagination to continue to get what we want diminishes? Is it a lack of imagination or simply a lack of effective use of our imagination?

One of the greatest gifts that we have an as human beings is our imagination. When was the last time you thought about how you use this incredible gift? Do you realize that imagination is one our intellectual factors which governs everything we have and who we become in life? Human beings are the only creatures on Earth that have the capacity to hold an image on the screen of their mind until it is realized in the physical world. Everything on earth was created twice. The car you drive in and the house that you sleep in was first envisioned in the mind of a designer or an architect. Artists hear songs or see mental images of the picture they want to paint in their mind before they ever write a single note or lift their paint brush. Things are created once in the mind and second in the physical world.

Do you remember when you were a child how vivid your imagination was? What changed as you grew up? Anyone who has ever watched an infant for some time and observed how they view the world cannot help but be impressed. We are attracted to babies based on their purity, sense of wonder and the level of joy that they express wherever they are. Somehow as we grow we change because of societal pressure and abandon some of the characteristics we once exhibited as a child. One of the primary skills that we somehow loose in the mix is the use of our valuable imagination.

Through traditional educational systems our imagination and creativity is suppressed and stilted. One key to moving forward to achieve your goals is to know exactly what you want in all aspects of your life. When we really know what we want we should be able to see a picture of the desire in our mind. Do you know what you want? Many people I ask this question to have no idea what they really, really want and unfortunately are no where near achieving even basic or simple goals.

Our imagination has led to the development of many incredible things. Think of all the modern devices you use every day and cannot live without. Your cell phone, computer or even that airplane you used on your last vacation. Without imagination none of these inventions would have been possible. Let me ask you an important question: over the last six months how many really exciting ideas have you thought about? Have they been based on what you really want or what you think you could get?

If you thought of different ideas think about this next question: what did you do to capture these ideas for future use? Do you write these ideas down? Do you make a picture of what you envisioned? If you wrote down your ideas, answer my next question. Would this idea make a positive difference in your life? Is the idea you imagined on purpose with what you want in your life?

If you have answered Yes to all these questions you have a clear understanding of your definite chief aim as Napoleon Hill would say. If you have got this far I would like to congratulate you. The fact you have a clear picture of where you want to be in your life and that you have a definite chief aim, puts you in the top 4% of the population. The most important question is what have you done about your ideas? Did you form a clear plan of action and have you been working your plan with persistence and determination?

In this article I have asked you many questions to try to really make you think. I hope you see that your imagination is one of the starting points for unfoldment of who and what you become in life. Your imagination is the path to achievement and will dictate everything obtain in the future including your health, wealth, quality relationships and success. The meaning of cheap stock, that is, stocks that they are trading under 60 cents or below, are always enticing - because you put down a small amount of money for a potentially lucrative return. So what are the downfalls to cheap stocks?

How can you identify if they are cheap These cheaper stocks can also be categorized by their market capitalisation (that is, the total number of shares multiplied by the price per share). Which is the total value of the company If a company's market cap is less than $100 million, the company is considered a fairly small stock, or a "small cap stock".

So is bigger better, or are small Fish sweeter, Will they grow? Historically, small cap stocks have outperformed large cap stocks in terms of returns. However this is not always the case and you have to remember the saying risk versus return. This isn't because a lot of cheap, small companies are better investments than large companies, but because almost all big companies were small when they first sold stock. Everything normally starts out small. Microsoft started in a garage, and now they are one of the biggest company in the world. Most large companies are through growing or are just fighting for market share.

Money-hungry investors turn to small stocks to buy, because these stocks are cheap and it looks like the bigger companies have not much room to grow. Right? We all want to get rich from the stock market, otherwise we would not trade? True? Read the Fine Print- Be careful of 'the cheap stock'

Traders and investors will often flock to internet chat rooms and talk up a cheap stock, saying they are going to find large amount resource, or they are doing a big deal with a big company. Why does this happen because people buy it and then want someone else to continue to buy it.

This is called "pumping and dumping" and it happens all the time. So make sure you are careful. As if this was true what is being said in the chat rooms, it would be inside trading. Illegal so make sure you do you own homework.

A stock that maybe trades only 5,000 shares a day is a good example of this type of scam and highly illegal. So do not fall into the trap. Otherwise you will lose your money. By pumping up the stock it creates the price to move higher for no good reason. This stock will soon be a DUD Trade. This Stock used to trade at $5 now its 50 cents. So that's cheap? Wrong

Another thing to avoid is a stock that has dropped significantly in price. Just because a stock looks cheap doesn't meant it's going to return to glory and you'll make yourself a big profit. The reason they fall is because something fundamental may have changed, they could have lost most of their revenue by losing a contract, or could be sued there are a host of reasons for this stock to fall.

You have to ask yourself why the stock fell in the first place? Those odds aren't good that these stocks will rebound. The odds aren't in your favour. Following the trend, remember trend is your friend.

BUT REMEMBER THEY CAN REBOUND..

Remember, however, that stocks that have crashed significantly usually continue in one direction: down. Look at the rest of the sector, see how they are performing. Something also to consider is make sure you do your research on finding a great broker, otherwise bad brokers can make you broker. They can be selling and promoting these stocks from time to time, why as they have clients that are losing money, which they want to help them make money.
