Making Sure Your Employability Remains Strong

By Craig Calvin

Today's economic strife has caused much concern among workers everywhere, wondering if tomorrow will bring news that their job has been eliminated like so many hundreds of thousands of others. It is an uncomfortable feeling, and unless you are in a recession proof career, then likely the thought has crossed your mind too.

This may be the time to become a team player, and being the best employee you can be may give you an added advantage over other employees. For instance go out of your way to be highly visible at work, especially to your supervisors. Don't hesitate to go above and beyond and do that extra little something that sets you apart. There are some positions that the company can live without, so try to work your way into a core position that makes you indispensable. Come to work early and stay late. Live and breathe your company's mission. Share its goals, and be an active participant in internal and external activities.

Since many companies have corporate offices in other states, the likelihood of your hard work and accomplishments standing out to them is lessened. You must do whatever you can to impress your local supervisor so that the message can be conveyed up the corporate channels. Being proactive is in your best interest at times like these.

If the times are telling you that there's a possibility that you'll lose your job, then you may need to change from a passive to a proactive mode. Get your resume updated and reprinted. And make sure your interviewing skills are sharpened, possibly even using your friends as guinea pigs to ask you questions. Making sure your job skills are updated and pertinent to the current market is as important as anything else.

It may seem like the possibility of losing your job can be debilitating, but there are things you can do to minimize its impact. Avoid making large purchases and make sure you sign up for credit insurance so that some of your bills can be covered. If you can manage it, try to set aside some money for a rainy day. And know that unemployment will likely be available to you, even though the amount maxes out these days at about $330 per week. If the working world leaves you aside, try to keep your head up and consider the positives. After every thunderstorm there is always sunshine.

Why Indiana is More Than Just Games

By Qandishah Brown

You can start cheering with your pom-poms, opening your beer cans and relaxing while watching the games. Sports are one thing that Indiana is popular for. This state is home to teams such as the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Colts. Not only that; it also hosts games such as the Indianapolis 500 sports race. You simply can't miss the fact that Hoosiers take playing their games to their hearts and they're good at it too.

Starting from the youth all the way to adults, you will find that residents of Indiana all take their sports seriously. They have a great record for winning at collegiate and professional levels. As a matter of fact even high school students take their games to the next level. There is no question that during the game seasons Indiana is filled with enthusiasm and competitiveness.

Of course watching or playing sports aren't the only things that the residents of Indiana do. They also have other activities such as craft shows and fairs which you can visit during different seasons. This gives them something different to do; so if you aren't all that much into sports or find that you need a break visiting a craft show in Indianan can do the trick.

Indianan craft fairs and shows are a great way to do something else in Indiana other than watch sports or participate in them. While it may not have as much body contact it is certainly still a great way for Hoosiers to support their state and promote what they have locally. Not to mention that it is a good way to make some good money.

Living in Indiana or nearby can give you the chance to join in these craft fairs or shows. It is quite easy to get into them and you get an opportunity to make money with something you like. It's not every day that you can do something you love while getting paid for it. Who knows you may even be making enough money for next season's tickets.

Verve Drink - half energy drink half nutritional supplement.

By Josh Dill

Verve Drink is a product of Vemma, a newer star in the network marketing industry.

BK Boreyko, Vemma's CEO wanted to break the energy drink mold with Verve. He wanted to create an energy drink that would make a difference.

Take a look at the main stream energy drinks out today. Such as Red Bull, Monster, and Full Throttle. What you will find is basically over caffeinated soda with loads of sugar and artificial flavoring and coloring. Not what we want to be dumping into our bodies.

Yes the caffeine will provide a energy boost and maybe a boost of mental awareness but the artificial ingredients is completely stressing out your body.

BK saw this problem in the energy drink industry and set sail to set new standards with Vemma and Verve Drink.

So what makes Verve so much better than Red Bull and other popular energy drinks?

The most obvious difference between Verve Drink and all the other popular energy drinks is that Vemma Verve is all natural. No artificial ingredients at all.

Take a close look at Verve Drink and you'll find a heap of healthy ingredients. Stuff you body needs in order to create energy and mental awareness. Such as phytonutrients, plant source minerals, vitamins, and green tea (organic) can all be found in a can of Vemma Verve.

When you drink a can of Verve you will also be taking your dose of daily vitamins. The great thing about the vitamins in Verve is that they are body ready. Your body knows what to do with them the second they enter your body. Your body doesnt have to convert them in to a usable form.
