Rich People Have Big Libraries; Poor People Have Big TVs

By Rob Walcher D.C.

Thinking Rich!

Have you come to the conclusion that now is the time for you to up the ante and play with the big dogs making the real money that would change your life? You are probably sick of earning the simple paycheck that takes you week to week without having any extra left over to do the stuff you really want to do. You are desperate to turn things around for yourself!

If that describes you, there are some questions you will need to face squarely and answer honestly.

If you were to become a wealthy millionaire, would you know how to act like one? How to the really big earners think? What are the big differences between the rich and the poor?

Your answers to all three are probably similar.

Millionaires like to buy rich and fancy houses and cars. Really big earners have nothing else to think about except the amount of money they have and all the fantastic ways they can spend it. The only difference between the rich and poor is that the rich have money.

If you want to be wealthy (rich) doesn't it stand to reason that you would learn how wealthy people think? And learn how they are different? To believe you become truly wealthy just because you gain a ton money; is similar to thinking you are an expert sky diver just because you know how to strap on a parachute. There's so much more to it!

If you can't beat them, join them

If you wanted to ride in a rodeo you would probably have to start hanging out with cowboys. Obviously it would be in your best interest to learn the ropes from people who have been there, done that! Just because you want to be a cowboy, doesn't mean you are, right?

That being said, it is obvious that in order to be wealthy or rich and to learn about how rich and wealthy people think you need to learn from other wealthy people. You need to learn what makes them like you and what sets them apart. Just because you flew on a plane doesn't mean you're a pilot. The same holds true with money. Just because you are able to make a boat load of money doesn't mean you will be and stay wealthy.

Let's be clear on one thing. People who are rich are wealthy on two levels. We are not just talking monetarily. Rich people have an attitude that makes them inwardly and outwardly wealthy. Most rich people can rebuild their circumstances at any time simply because they are fulfilled with a mind set that qualifies them to be rich.

Wealthy people are solutions-minded; problems are just an annoying bump in the road. Poor people crash at the first sign of a problem - they were sure it wouldn't work all along. The problem proved them right!

Wealthy people are big thinkers; they aren't afraid of a few extra zeroes in their income level. Poor people think small - after all, it's safer that way.

There is a time for everyone to start a new process of thinking. If these ideas seem new to you, then NOW is your time to make changes that will help you to think and act like a rich/wealthy person. Waste no more time and begin today.

By living through the words of philosopher Jim Rohn who says

" We all have two choices, we can make a living or we can design a life."

It's pretty obvious that wealthy, successful people have chosen the latter. Which will you choose?

Self Build Your Home " Alternative to the Construction Industry?

By Tal Potishman

In the United Kingdom, there are twenty thousand people who build their own homes every year. They prefer self building to paying real estate agents to locate pre-built dwellings or paying a contractor to build a home for them that they may or may not have helped design. What does this mean for the construction industry"an industry that depends on people deciding against self building projects? It really more cost effective to build your own house instead of paying someone to build it for you or paying someone to find one that has already been built?

The biggest obstacle for a person who has decided to construct her own home depends on just how much experience she has with all of the different tasks that are involved in home construction (like electrics as well as carpentry). If the self builder is inexperienced then she will run into many problems as she struggles to build a home that is safe and sound as well as functional. Obviously if the self builder does have the necessary experience she needs to build a safe and functional house and is well versed in local building and electrical codes, then doing the work by herself could end up saving her a large sum of money!

When a person decides to self build a home, how does he choose a location? In the event that the self builder is still relatively new to the task, he can save himself quite a large headache by hiring a professional to find a location that is well suited to people who will be building their homes from the ground up. The location will depend largely upon local zoning codes. A professional will know how to help the self builder find the location that is best suited to his wants and needs and will be happy to do so without charging rates that are too high.

Tracking down funding for a self build project will be a challenge. Banks like to loan money to people whose projects are easy to understand.

Qualifying for a mortgage loan or a loan for a contractor's estimate is easier because all areas of the project will be well defined. With a self build project, the builder might not know ahead of time how much money she will need to successfully build her home. Find out if your lending institution funds self build projects. If they do not, they might be able to recommend an institution that will loan you the money.

Self building can save experienced construction and electrics expert quite a bit of money. For those who aren't sure whether or not the project is up their alley, further research should be done before making a decision.

The Best Guide On Free Trademark Search Available On The Web

By Jenni Snook

Do you think that you can undertake a free trademark search? There is a large number of websites online that can give some introductory information for no price at all, however the terms and conditions may not be so obvious.

What is the definition of a trademark? It can be either a word, name or even a symbol, that are filed with the law and defended by the law, which is used by a company on all the goods they manufacture to distinguish them from other companies' goods. The trademark gives exclusivity to the owner meaning that no other company can ever use it or use some kind of resemblance, otherwise, they could get punished by the law. Given these great advantages, one would be crazy not to register it as a trademark. In order to do all this was to undertake a search to see if a certain trademark is actually available for registration.

A method that costs nothing is to use the Internet to search online. Trademarks already registered are listed on many sites. It is important that the trademark that you intend to use must be unique and which will not be already in use elsewhere.

- In the United States, the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is the body that officially registers trademarks. On the website you can access the PT depository library and see if certain identifiable goods are available. However you will not be able to access information concerning registered trademarks in each state and DBA records.

- Websites of State Secretary. Most states have detailed databases made available online. These sites however, do not include details of federal trademarks, listings of other states and common-law databases. If you are visiting a state's website, do ensure that what you are looking at is an updated version and whether it can conduct an intelligent search.

- Yellow Pages. You can access their nationwide database by just entering the name of your business. There is no need to enter all other details asked for. Like the other websites, you will have to enter details of variations failing which the website does not conduct an intelligent search.

If you are not too pleased with the results of your search, then you can always seek help from professionals who do this type of work for a living. However, wouldn't you want to take advantage of the free resources online?

An application for registering a trademark can be filed with the USPTO. They will conduct their own search to ensure that no other similar or look alike trademark has been registered. It is not the job of the USPTO to serve the applicants. Their job is to protect existing trademarks. They will do this by ensuring that no new trademark infringes on existing registered ones.

You are obliged to do a lot of preliminary research before applying to get your trademark registered. You have the option of visiting depository libraries as well as conducting manual searches for trademarks that already exist. This may be done electronically via TESS. You can then monitor the progress of an application via TARR.

Before any trademark is registered, the USPTO has to ensure that existing registered trademarks do not stand to get infringed by your new application. If there is the slightest chance of this happening, the application is likely to be rejected. To avoid such an outcome, it is best that you conduct your own free trademark searches with this guide before you submit your application for registration.
