How To Make Money With PPC Marketing

By Mike Wong

When people read about pay per click marketing, they always hear about the internet marketers who make hundreds of dollars a day with PPC. They get very excited, jump right in, and spend a hundred bucks or so on their first PPC campaign. This campaign probably results in little to no conversions and they give up then and there.

Being a profitable pay per click marketer requires quite a bit of time and effort. It is an involved process that you need to follow that requires discipline and hard work. Each step of the process is essential and not properly implementing one step will more than likely cause your entire campaign to fail.

The first step of the process is to figure out what product you would like to sell. To start, come up with a list of ten or so topics you would be excited about promoting. You will spend a lot of time researching the topic and product, so make sure its interesting enough that you wont quit in the middle.

With your list in hand, you will now need to find a specific product to promote. There are several sites where you can find such products. I would suggest signing up for CJ.com and Clickbank.com as they are two of the largest and most reputable. They both have thousands of products over multiple niches so it is likely you will be able to find a good product to sell.

Once you've chosen the product you want to sell, you need to begin with keyword research. For this, you can use a free tool like the Google Adwords Keyword Tool. Input keywords into this tool, and it will spit out a long list of related long tail keywords that you can use. The most profitable keywords are the ones that visitors often use when they are searching with an intent to buy a certain product.

Now that you have your keywords and product, you will need to create a lander for it. A landing page gives you a chance to pre-sell your product to your customer. The alternative is to direct link to the product itself, but many pay-per-click engines like Google Adwords dislike this technique. If you don't have any technical skills, you can outsource the landing page creation to a professional web designer.

Next, you will have to decide which PPC advertising platform you want to advertise on. The biggest one is Google Adwords, and they will definitely send you the most traffic. MSN Adcenter and Yahoo Search Marketing are also ok alternatives. I would suggest starting with Adwords first, and once you develop some profitable campaigns with them, you can easily move them over to the others.

Creating good ad copy is another important part of the process. Your ads need to be targeted to the keywords you've chosen and also be compelling enough so that visitors want to click through. Achieving a high click through rate is essential for success with Google Adwords so it is important that you focus on writing good ads.

You should now have a good idea of the process of creating a profitable PPC campaign. There are definitely some more tips and tricks to be learned, but you at least now know the basics. Try starting a few PPC campaigns now and see if you can't find your first profitable one.

How To Explain RSS

By Samo Yanezic

When someone asks you to explain how RSS feeds work, how do you respond? Perhaps you fumble about, unsure, you may even try to flub it a bit to look like you understand ti completely. Maybe you just go directly to a web site that will give you the definition. Whatever the case, if you find it difficult to explain RSS feeds easily, you may not be able to explain it thoroughly.

If you, like so many people, are trying to draw attention to your site or blog online, chances are that you won't accomplish that goal unless you have set up an RSS feed for your site. When you think about just what an RSS feed can do for you, it makes perfect sense. In fact, it won't take long to realize that it is a very basic, simple way to get readers and attract traffic.

The first thing to consider when explaining RSS feeds is knowing what the acronym actually stands for. The answer may surprise you. It is not a complex, technical term, it simply means Really Simply Syndication.

In this case, syndication simply means creating media and making it more accessible in several different avenues. Now, you should not mistake this to mean that you are changing media, although that can certainly be done. Think about it this way: the comics in the paper are syndicated. They are run in several different papers all over the country or even the world. You can bring this concept to your work and distribute it world wide as well.

Now that the term RSS feed has been defined, the next logical question would pertain to its relevance. Actually, RSS feeds have only gained importance over the last few years. As the internet has grown and matured, more and more people have created blogs and media sites. These sites are updated and checked on a regular basis, often daily. Many people have several sites that they manage, so webmasters are seeking ways to attract traffic to their sites, with as little pointing and clicking as possible.

They would love to be able to go to one site and to get all the news and writing that they want in that one place, and this is why it is so important to explain RSS, especially to new web marketers.

Once you begin using an RSS feed, you should understand what that means. Simply speaking, it means that the products you create will be zipped directly to someone's personal reading list. Instead of being burdened with remembering that they must click on your site or visit your blog to see updates and new content, all they have to do is go to their reading list. Essentially, your material is delivered directly to them.

What happens next is that your feed will become meshed with their daily activities and interests. In short, you will become a part of their daily routine. Your next move is to consider just how you can capitalize on this and make the most of it.

Setting up your own RSS feed is very easy. Many established sites, such as MySpace and Blogspot already have RSS feed options in place. If you are already blogging on these sites, it can be very easy to set up your feed.

If this sounds like an avenue that could prove beneficial for you, take some time to research RSS feeds, learn the ins and outs and know just what impact it can have on your site. Then you are ready to roll.

Frisbee Toss

By Bobbie McKee

Are you already tired of playing the same old tricky toss in Frisbee? Well, a good thing about playing Frisbee is that you can develop your very own moves and tosses. This is usually followed in the game Friskee, where players are judged according to the unique moves and tosses they make.

If you're ready to take your play at a higher level, follow these steps so that you can get more from your regular toss.

Did you know that you can toss a Frisbee that will eventually come back to you? Well, that's possible but you need to know the trick so that you can do it on your own. By now, you're already aware of the different angles. You need to toss the Frisbee up at approximately 45 degrees angle. This may sound difficult at first but if you practice this move, you will soon be able to master it. Keep in mind that if you throw the Frisbee higher, it will also tend to come back faster towards you. You must be careful or else you can get hit. You can do this trick especially if you're playing by yourself.

If you can get a friend of yours to play Frisbee, you can do this toss-move. Juggle the flying disc between the two of you. Make sure that you and the other player is 20 ft apart. You have to ensure that the Frisbees will not collide when they are in flight. This is a terrific workout because each of the players is throwing and catching more often as compared to playing regular Frisbee. You can start by using two Frisbees and you can increase its number as you become good at it.

Wobble Frisbee - this is a fun game. When you toss a Frisbee, it flies without making any wobbles. If you want to play wobble Frisbee, you need to place a little of mud on the Frisbee's one side. Toss the flying disc into the air and because of the added weight, it will wobble while on flight. Be careful because you might hit someone.

If there are three or more players, you can do this trick. You have to get two Frisbees in different sizes. Tuck the smaller Frisbee to the bigger one. You need to grip the Frisbee's lips and then throw them together at an angle. The other players must be ready to catch the Frisbees. Sometimes, the two Frisbees separate but there are also times when the discs stick together.

These toss-tricks may seem very simple but you will surely have a lot of fun. Regular Frisbee is fun but if you want to give it a new twist, try to incorporate these tricks into the game. Now, you can play Frisbee alone, with one opponent, or even in a group. Adding a touch of creativity will make the game more exciting. If you use your imagination and creativity, you will be able to come up with new toss-moves. You can use these new moves so that you and your friends can enjoy your Frisbee games.

Frisbee is a very energetic and fun game. It can give your body the needed exercise while you're having a lot of fun. You can even meet new friends with the same interests in your neighborhood.
